Recently ,Shri Guru Nanak Public Boys Inter College(SGNPB) , celebrated 90 yrs of exceptional service in the education field.A lot of Ex students visited the school that day and were delighted to be back in the school in the company of their classmates! . Many Ex Students felt to stay connected with each other to foster the bond once again. It is a well known fact that Alumni meetings play a vital role in fostering lifelong connections, bonding opportunities, and professional growth. The dialogue helps former students stay engaged with their alma mater, share experiences, and support current students through mentorship .
Following that resolve to stay connected a virtual meeting was held on 23 Feb , in which many members elaborated on their thought process to collaborate in the efforts by this group to be of some help to our school!
After discussions, the areas in which sustained efforts are to be made are as follows–
Sports
Academic excellence and Skill development
Infrastructure of school improvement
Music and other ECC
In all these areas ,Short and long term goal would be set and self contained teams of volunteers would be formed.
It was further decided to hold a physical meeting in school compound in April 25 after the google meet of March. The importance to further enhance the group membership by Media interaction including social media was also noted as action point!
All members acknowledged the magnitude of the task but were resilient to take up this challenge!
The importance of regular interaction in the form of physical or virtual meetings was also emphasised!
