Virtual Meet — SGNP Boys Inter College, Dehradun
Held on 27th April, 2025

The Virtual Meet of SGNP Boys Inter College Alumni was conducted in a very cordial and meaningful atmosphere.

Highlights of the Meet:

• We were honored by the gracious participation of Shri Harbans Singh ji (1955 batch) and the presence of Principal Shri Avtar Singh ji.
• The spirit of brotherhood, commitment to the school’s upliftment, and shared pride in our alma mater — SGNPIC Dehradun, guided the entire interaction.

Principal of the School Shri Avtar singh ji also attended the School and brought following:

• Two class rooms have been converted to Smart E class rooms.
• The school has done extremely well in intermediate Boards this year.
• Junior NCC wing has started in the school.
• The installation work of Water cooler is in progress.
• Educational tours of the Students have been started.

The meet reaffirmed that regular interaction among alumni is essential — not just for personal social well-being, but also for the total transformation of our beloved school.
Everyone agreed: we are one family, bound by the sacred umbilical cord of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings, and it is our absolute privilege to have studied at SGNP Boys Inter College, Dehradun.

Key Decisions Taken:

• School Visit:
  Alumni members will visit the school around 25th May, 2025 to assess the situation firsthand and interact with students.
• Online Classes Initiative:
  Online classes, likely using Microsoft Teams and Smart Boards, will be initiated. Volunteer alumni will impart subject knowledge and focus on all-round personality development of students.
• Auditorium Upgradation:
  The auditorium infrastructure will be improved to host motivational guest lectures and facilitate distant online interactions with students.
• Annual Day Planning:
  The date and scale of the Annual Day Function 2025 and the specific role of alumni will be finalized after discussions.
• Charity Lunch for Fundraising:
  A Charity Lunch will be organized to raise funds for various developmental activities of the school.
