On July 2nd, the Alumni of SGNP Boys Inter College paid a heartfelt visit to their alma mater, rekindling old memories while also taking stock of the impressive strides the school has made in recent years.
A highlight of the visit was the tour of various classrooms, including the newly constructed Smart Classrooms, which left a lasting impression on the visitors. These state-of-the-art learning spaces, made possible through the generous financial and active support of Shri S. Vadhera, a distinguished alumnus, were lauded for their quality and modern appeal.
Principal Shri Avtar Singh welcomed the alumni and provided an insightful briefing on ongoing development projects at the school. These include:
- Installation of a new water cooler
- Reconstruction of the cycle stand
- Upgradation of the school canteen
- Renovation of the library
The Principal highlighted how the consistent efforts of former students have been instrumental in bringing about visible and meaningful improvements across the campus.
During their interaction with current students and faculty members, the alumni expressed a keen interest in contributing further. One exciting outcome of the visit was the decision to launch Online English Conversation Classes, to be conducted by alumni volunteers – a move that promises to greatly benefit the students’ communication skills and global readiness.
In addition, Principal Avtar Singh requested alumni support for the construction of another E-Smart Classroom, continuing the journey towards digital empowerment in education.
The visit ended on a high note, with a shared sense of purpose and pride in the evolving legacy of SGNP Boys Inter College.
