, a distinguished socio-cultural and developmental organisation comprising officers and professionals connected with Uttarakhand, has formally requested the Government of Uttarakhand to rename the Dehradun Airport as:
“Major General B.C. Khanduri Airport, Dehradun”
The request has been made through a formal representation addressed to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

Major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri occupies a unique and respected place in the public life of Uttarakhand and the nation.
His life reflects a rare combination of:

Before entering public life, Major General Khanduri served the nation with distinction in the Indian Army and earned widespread respect for his discipline, leadership and dedication.
